Your opinion on the Wave?

I was wondering if anyone has eaten at the Wave in the Contemporary since it opened back in June.

We have reservations there soon, and I was wondering if anyone here had an opinion on it (food, service, environment) or if they had ordered anything particularly delicious ? :slurp:

Had dinner there on the 29th of june the service was great i had the fish of the day which was black cod the coating was very salty. My dh had the flank steak it was great.the other couple had the clams and i beleive shrimp with a tomato sause. They both were not feeling well later on. The interior was really nice not to dark. The lounge looked great.the colors were fantastic. I don't know if i would go back again i really loved the concourse

Can you just go in spur of the moment? Is there a bar where you can get a cocktail and an appetizer?

We ate lunch there during the third week of June. The Lunch menu was great. Dinner menu looked good too. Service was not great, but I think that was just our waiter. The decor was nice. However, it was freezing in there. The bar/lounge area was fine, but the dining room was freezing. There were a lot of business lunches going on. Food was good a little pricey, but not bad.

We had dinner & breakfast there during the week of the 4th.
Both meals were excellent . As a matter of fact the filet minon was the best I've eaten
at WDW ! ...if they only served Dole Whip....

There is defiantly a bar; I've seen in in pics online. There is also supposed to be a large lounge space.
