Anyway, the principal who was there at the time became my high school principal for my junior and senior year. My school had four principals during my four years there, now thats sad.

Five principals in four years, three supernitendents in four years. BEAT THAT:lol: A magacial revolving door

I knew my high school wouldn't be on that list. For one, it's in rural South Carolina. Two, it only offered 5 AP classes, which were only taken by 20 or so students (out of a student body of about 900) each year. Oh...and did I mention 90-95 percent of the students are red-necks.

my senior year (and 1/2 my junior year) of HS were spent dual enrolled in the local community college...

thank god for that. The HS I went to my Senior Year was 25% rednecks, 25% rich idiots that daddy will bail out of jail, 25% ghetto, and 25% other.... I was in the last 25%.

Some schools had a resource officer. This one had a full unit. Thank god I only set foot in there 4 times (first day, first day 2nd semester, cap and gown pickup, and prom ticket purchase).

Wow, I'm not exactly sure what the qualifications were, but I am quite surprised that my high school isn't on the list at all. Brett and Parkeit, you should have at least heard of it since it's in upstate South Carolina. D. W. Daniel High School in Central (nearest to Clemson) is considered one of the premier high schools in the state. I'm curious CrisKennedy which high school it was that you went to.

Wow, south carolina's representin' in this thread!

*EDIT* After some quick (and hardly precise) calculations, my high school would have made the list, had it been for the class of 2003, and not 2002. Of course, my numbers are only estimates for class size.

South Carolina, REPRESENT!! Yeah, I know a lot of kids from Daniel, seeing as how it's about 5 minutes from my apartment. :D

My school (Fletcher High in Jacksonville FL) isnt on there (surprise surprise) but a bunch of other jacksonville high schools are. I'm surprised to see Stanton and Paxon at the top of the list, I always thought they were private schools.

Yeah, that would do it. I'm sure a large majority of those you know will eventually attend CU, too! I love Daniel, it's caliber of students is amazing. At the same time, the lack of immaturity of a lot of our students disappoints me. (A lot of rednecks ;)).
