Your feedback on Cape May Cafe

Just made another PS ressie for our trip in August. This time it is a character breakfast @ Disney's Beach Club Resort (Cape May Cafe). Please post your thoughts, the theme of the resturant, and what you thought of the food. Thanks a lot!

I think the food at Cape May is great. Many people are disappointed because they advertise a New England clam bake and the menu isn't quite up to their expectations. They have an excellent dessert selection.

there's a reason that I keep going back there...

and it isn't the fact that I hate driving out of the way to get DAMN fine food at a fun place.

Damn this place is great! Just get in the car and go there, now. You won't find many better places in WDW, or anywhere, for that matter. It's all good. Go ahead and add a dinner reservation (or two) to your trip. There is no such thing as dissappointment at the Cape May Cafe...

DO NOT MISS CAPE MAY CAFE, THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT. WE HAVE GONE TO THE CLAM BAKE THE PAST FOUR YEARS AT LEAST TWICE, SOMETIMES THREE TIMES IN A 11 DAY SPAN. THIS PAST MAY, WE WENT THE FIRST TIME ON MOTHER'S DAY AND THEY HAD A HUGE CARVING STATION IN ADDITION TO EVERYTHING ELSE. YOU DON'T JUST HAVE TO LOVE CLAMS THEY HAVE A SELECTION OF EVERYTHING. MY GRANDCHILDREN, AGES 3 & 10 LOVED IT.WE HAVE SENT NUMEROUS PEOPLE TO THE CAPE MAY AND THEY ALL LOVED IT.:sohappy: :sohappy:

I don't think you can go wrong with the character breakfast. I've been to several at WDW at different locations, and all have been very good. However, we were very disappointed with the dinner buffet at the Cape May Cafe. If you live in an area where you get an abundance of fresh seafood, you will be highly disappointed. I found the quality of the food to be over cooked and bland.

Co-Best Buffet on property, along with the Akerhaus (spelling?) at the Norway pavillion.
