Hi Folks,This being our first time on QS DDP and having two snacks per day each giving us 6 per day.What is your favourite snack to take home when your vacation ends.?

We always have to get Mickey's chocolate chip cookies and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. Also my mom has to have her fudge from Main Street!

Can they be taken wrapped up in my suitcase?

They usually wrap them individually with paper and then put them in a paper bag. I always travel with large plastic zip-lock bags and will put them in there if I don't trust the paper bags. They travel well and last about a week or so. If I don't have room in my carry-on, I put them in the suitcase.

We always grab a good sized stack (due to extra snack credits) of the Mickey Rice Crispies treats with the chocolate ears. Mmmmmm a yummy "to go" snack for the drive home and then a little hint of a reminder of what was for a week or so once we're home.

Karamell-Kuche's Germany's, chocolate covered sea salt caramel.

I brought home 8 this time. : ) Slurp.

We have always brought home fudge, but that was before Karamell Kuche opened.
Now I'm pretty sure we will be bringing home Werther's caramel corn.
Not that any of it will outlast the trip to the airport and the 3 hour flight home.

It seems we aren't allowed to import meat or dairy products but can take up to 2kg of fruit, so make sure it's not a large apple!

Well, we did DxDP last summer and we had something like 20 snack credits left on our check out day. So, I sent DH to Contempo Cafe to pick up some yummy goodness for the drive home. I was thinking he'd be on the same page as me and think that the best take home snacks would be 20 cupcakes! He bought a lot of fruit, bottled juices, and other not so exciting things. Yes, I know it was all healthy- but we were still on vacation and I was still planning on being bad! The moral of the story, the best take home snack if driving is a vehicle full of cupcakes!
