I'm curious about this, as many Disney "purist" like to point out how things were better overall in the early days of WDW (I agree by the way) I'm wondering how much your first experiences/age define how you rate the parks and attractions.

For me it was 1985, 13yrs old, EPCOT Center, Horizons

My preference regarding The Magic Kingdom centers on the fact that it personifies a more "classic" Disney, if that makes any sense. EPCOT comes in as a close second because I have an enormous amount of family memories tied to that park.

Order of favourites parks is the same as the order I visited them and the order they were build: MK, EPCOT, DHS, DAK.

Past - Imagination (and TOTALLY because it was the single most awesome memory when I went the first few times as a kid.)

Present - tough one but probably Big Thunder

Sooooo hard to narrow it to down so I have to do three
Past: Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, ToT
present: Philharmagic, Haunted Mansion, ToT

honorable mention goes to the original Figment

  4. Favorite attraction. Splash Mountain (Yeah, I know it's a mess but I love "Song of the South" and I enjoy watching my bootleg DVD.

First trip was in 1992.. I was 6 years old.. My favorite ride was World of Motion, I miss that ride! But at least they replaced it with another favorite, unlike Mission Space replacing Horizons. My favorite park was MK.

Favorite Attraction: Tower of Terror (memorized the whole ride dialogue)

Past: Haunted Mansion (still a top favorite due to the memories) Present: Soaring
