My favorite is still Epcot. Yes, I loved WOM, the original JII and Horizons a great deal, but Epcot still has the most for me in one park (even though I don't ever just confine myself to one). Spaceship Earth is still there (of course), and I love World Showcase. Here's some useless trivia for you: it takes about 12 minutes to walk (not fast, not slow) from the entrance all the way back to Japan on the other end if you don't stop for anything. I found this out when we were in a hurry to go back to the Mitsukoshi store to buy some gifts before leaving on our last day there (we live in Arkansas, so we don't go too often).

It's also the only place you can get that great shaved ice in Japan.

I enjoy all of Disney's parks. But the one for me that I most enjoy is Magic Kingdom. It's got more must-see attractions in that one park alone than the others do. Don't get me wrong, the other parks have must-see attractions too, but Magic Kingdom by far has more of them. Epcot has great attractions, but I've never liked half of the park (the World Showcase half), and mainly head to MGM for Tower of Terror and Rock n' Roller Coaster. And in Animal Kingdom it basically only has Dinosaur, It's Tough to be a Bug, and Kilimanjaro Safaris going for it. Magic Kingdom is the best because it's got: Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Peter Pan's Flight, Snow White's Scary Adventure, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, etc, etc, etc,.....

Well it's a matter of opinion. I'm sure they are great rides, but I don't ride them. I've never been a fan of coasters, drop rides or other 'thrill' rides. I like docile 'wimpy' rides (not the kind of GOGOGOFASTERFASTERTWISTLOOPFALLINGTOYOURDEATHAHHHHH rides), that's why Disneyworld was always the perfect place for me. It's also the reason I always hated Six Flags and their ilk.

Disney was unique because most of the rides their focused on whimsy and observation, rather than the basic thrill of a coaster. Some of those rides I liked for that reason are now gone because Disney (or Eisner...whichever you prefer) feels the need to compete with the carnival atmoshere of these other parks in order to attract the younger crowds that seek thrill rides.

Horizons and World of motion were in my list of favorite top five attractions. Now WOM is Test Track, which I rode once and it didn't float my boat particularly (although it didn't absolutely suck)..it certainly isn't as good as WOM was to me. I'm actually looking forward to Mission:SPACE because it's a simulator. I like Star Tours and to a lesser extent Body Wars (although that one throws you around a little too hard if you ask me). I still wish they could have kept or relocated Horizons though.

As I said, it's a matter of opinion. I'm certainly not insulting your opinions, Captain Hook, because I'm glad those rides are there. They add to the excitement of the park and they look cool, but I don't ride them. Now you can see why I still like boring old Epcot! :)

Yep, you can't beat MK. I would never go on a trip to WDW without going there. That's why I mentioned on some other thread that I always think of all the parks as one since I do the parkhopper thing. As far as this thread though, if I were forced to only use a one park pass for one day it would be Epcot because of the size. I even like AK, but I wouldn't want to be there over any of the other parks. I would put them in this order:
Epcot
MK (a close second)
MGM (has some really cool stuff)
AK (needs more, but not bad to visit on a parkhopper ticket)

I love the Magic Kingdom because that park reminds me the most of my childhood Disney experiences. Epcot is a very close second for the same reason. I used to like Epcot more than I do now...since certain things have been removed.:(
I am not a huge thrill seeker so I find MGM a little short on stuff to do.....and Animal Kingdom is o.k......but I must confess I have not explored the whole park yet.

:) Epcot is where I spend most of my time but MK and Studios have some great rides and shows (Fantasmic is worth the price of admission :D ) So my vote is choice #5 Walt Disney World. :D :sohappy: :sohappy:

That's a really hard question! It depends on my mood of the moment...There's the magic of the castle, evenings at Epcot are amazing, and MGM has my fav rides! I can't really include AK, only been once, so I'm still not sure about it.

Thank goodness for park-hopper passes! :D

I agree. The Magic of MK is amazing, but EPCOT is just awesome at night, and then MGM just has the best rides.

A very difficult question. As one person put it, its like choosing your favorite child!

I would have to say the Studios. I love movies.

Epcot all the way for me. Don't get me wrong I love all the parks and would never go to WDW without visiting each, but Epcot has been my favorite ever since it opened. When I was a child, I always looked toward the future and was (still am) a huge Star Trek fan. I like to take an optimistic view of man's future, just like Gene Roddenberry and Walt Disney himself. I also love to learn and see new products and technologies. So you can see why Future World in Epcot Center is my favorite. I also love world showcase because all of the theming is so well done.

Besides, Epcot has more good restaurants than the other three parks combined.

MK is great, but it's a preference thing. Both AK and MGM feel like they still need more attractions before they will be full, well-rounded parks.
