You left off my favorite, which would be Star Trek TNG. It began in the late 80's, so...it counts.

Other than that, Cosby Show. We have memorable moments such as this:

I will check some of the comments and see what shows people would like to see on the polls. There is usually a second version of the polls a little later to fit the demands of forum members. (:

Golden Girls
I loved the Golden Girls and at the moment it's been shown nightly on a UK channel, so I'm currently watching it again! It still works, although there is the odd episode where it's really tacky, ones where the story involves a life lesson, there's one where it's appears Rose is addicted to painkillers so they take them away from her and that first night she can't sleep so they all stay up and play games, by the morning she is cured and over her addiction! Ok!

None of the above ... DangerMouse is a clear winner :D

"I wanna to go for a ride on the Big-a dipper. I will not-a tell-a DangerMouse it is a-da trap." Prior to just about every roller coaster we ever ride, my DD9 and I both quote Penfold when he was hypnotized to get DM onto a trap in the amusement park. That's genius stuff, that is.

Well, I was born in 1986 so i did not get a chance to watch most of these shows when they were out. But I do remember watching Knight Rider as a kid and loving it. :)

My husband bought me the box set for my birthday a couple of years ago and the box looks like Sophia's purse! LOL In that episode you mentioned, Rose does go away for treatment, maybe it was edited out for time over there? I am not fond of those types of episodes, either. Don't give me a lecture, just make me laugh, you know?

I can't find the box set here in the UK :( I don't remember Rose getting treatment, this ep was only on last week so still fresh in my mind, must have been edited! I always sing the theme tune, I love it!

Remington Steele *swoon* Loved that show! Sat in front of the tv by myself, no one else in the house watched it. My dad used to make fun of the fact that I'd never miss it, and of course tease me about swooning over Pierce Brosnan. ;)

I remember Robin of Sherwood--was it that long ago?? *google* OMG, it was!!

I got married in 1986.

@Big C 73--how could you have Dallas in the poll and leave out Dynasty? Dynasty is way more '80s, IMO. :)

Never watched Dallas, but I did watch all of the others in the 80s, and many in reruns again in the 90s or beyond.

Another for the next poll: Quantum Leap.

The Wonder Years

Going by when they started, even if they bled into the 90s. Then you have all of the 70s shows that bled into the 80s!
