so I'm a freshman in college, double major in theatre arts/theatre for youth... And when I become a senior, I'll have to present a "capstone." Which basically means I have to do some sort of presentation relating to my major. So my plan is spend the next three years writing a play or musical. It will revolve around these female janitor that works at a theme park who falls in love with this single dad taking his son on vacation. The girl kind of creepily stalks the dad, finding out his dining reservations, fastpasses, ect. Disguising herself as a waitress, tourist, ect. Should be fun!

Why am I posting this here?? I'd love love LOOVE to have any kind of story of any interesting experiences you've had at Disney World! Whether you're a tourist or you work there.. Whether it involves watching tourists fight to the death, or a fed up parent, or a romantic moment, or a meaningful moment with your child.. Anything that can play on emotions or make someone laugh or is just generally interesting! And I'd like to combine all of these real life inspired stories into a play! (:

So yea! Anyone have any awesome/interesting stories to share??

Okay Wonders,

My DS is now a freshman in college too, here are some of my WDW related human interest stories. If you can use any of these please feel free. Most of these I have posted in the past.

My DS was our little souvenir from our WDW honeymoon.

When my DS was 6 he was looking for something to eat and walked right into “My Disney Girl’s Perfect Princess Tea” He was of course mortified and turned red a proverbial beet as at that age all girls have cooties. The little girls all gasped and I swear one batted her eyes at him while the hostess burst out laughing at my DS’ discomfort.

I am retired US Army, about 12 years ago while waiting in line at the old Main Street Bakery I saw an old friend, we had served in Vietnam together. We had not seen each other or communicated in about 35 years but we knew each other right off. Our respective families, my DW and DS his DW and grandkids went off to tour the Magic Kingdom while we sat drank coffee and discussed life.

My absolute favorite Disney memory is standing on the roof of the Contemporary watching wishes after celebrating my DS’ birthday at the California Grill and him telling me that this was the perfect birthday.

On the bus back from DHS a little girl 4 or 5 years old sat next to my DW and I and showed us her autograph book, with each autograph she supplied addition information such as Pluto is a yellow dog and Minnie wears a Pokka dot dress.

On the bus going back the Wilderness Lodge one night a little girl sat eating French fries a man, with a strong southern accent, teased her saying “I love fries can I have a French fry.” My DS 7 at the time tugged my sleeve and said “Dad what’s Larry the cable guy doing on our bus?”

We did a family gathering one year, one of our niece’s family was staying at POP while we were staying at the Contemporary. Our niece decided she like the Contemporary better so she moved in with us for the week. She was about 11 at the time our DS was 7 so it actually worked out well as she was a companion for him and mom and dad got a little rest especially at the pool. That was the same trip where our families all stayed at different resorts, Mother in law and sister in law at Port Orleans French Quarter. Brother in law and 2 kids at POP Century, second brother in law and 2 kids at the Polynesian and My DW, DS and I at the Contemporary. Trying to get everyone together every day was like herding cats. That was also the trip where we ate at Whispering Canyon one night and my Mother in law pulled a zip lock bag out of her purse for left overs for later. I was ready to kill her.

During the same trip the look on my DS and our nephew’s face watching the belly dancer at restaurant Marrakesh was priceless. I believe after that my DS didn’t think girls has cooties.

On our most recent trip while riding big thunder mountain railroad, I saw a man filming with one cell phone while talking on another and at the same time his wife was texting to each their own.
