You Know What Really "Grinds My Gears"?...

1. When large groups get into a line, half before you, then half behind. And the group thinks they can assemble together AHEAD of you! When proper etiquette is CLEARLY to assemble into the group behind.
2. When your wife and kids sit down at the only available table in the Starlight Cafe, so you get into line by yourself, and your order requires TWO trays!
3. When you try taking a picture of yourself on the screen at the photo station at the rides exit, only to find that you missed YOUR photo, and have a pic of some complete strangers.
4. When you've stood in line for an hour for SOARIN', you're watching David Puddy explain how to board the ride...and THEN your 5 year-old says he "needs to go potty...NOW!"
5. When your 7 year-old and 5 year-old are experiencing the "magic" by looking at something interesting, when someone comes along riding one of those scooters (who doesn't really require one), he stops...stares...and HONKS THE HORN for the kids to move...then rides away angry (This is a true story...I kid you not)

What really "grinds YOUR gears"?

1. Ugh! This drives me crazy too! No one taught etiquette for Disney though.
2. Lol, this is why we send two people
3. Lol again
4. Lol, this is why I don't wait in line and we always go BEFORE we get on Soarin'. We have Fastpasses down to a science.
5. Unfortunately, there are jerks in Disney. Some people on scooters are polite, some are not. I can't believe someone did that to your kids. I think I would have had to give that person "the look".

I just stared at him and said "Really!?!"

When some of my group happens to get ahead, for any reason, and the rest of us are behind another group, we go ahead and re-join our group, in front of whoever's behind. I don't see a problem with that. I let families or groups do that all the time. If a part of their group was there before me, it's totally fair to let the rest of the group join them, even if it's in front of me.

I don't think that is what is being referred to. More of people getting in line without the rest of the group and then the rest of the group cutting in line to join their party.

It was YOU!!!!
Seriously, I usually don't have a problem with it because situations are usually different, especially if it's just a family with kids. Some are slow. However, last summe we were in line for Buzz Lightyear and a "tour group" got in line before us. About a minute later, another group of about 15 girls didn't even ask...they just pushed ahead of my family. Gears were grinding!

Ok, when they push and don't say "Excuse me", that's different. That hasn't happened to me but a few times, but when it does happen, I either give them a look or say something.

So you're the culprit? Lol. Don't do this in WDW. You will get some very nasty looks. Also possibly a comment or two from my father. ;) But seriously, some Argentinians tried this last trip and got yelled at in Spanish by an American man. We consider it rude. Now, if you've gotten caught in a crowd and you're trying to rejoin the group just a few guests in front of you, that's fine (I do this too, though I can play innocent and say, "Please, I need to get to my parents"), especially if it's one or two people. But we still consider it more polite if you let the group in behind you pass. I think this must be an East Coast thing. What @rnese was talking about is a group of 10, when one person is ahead of you and the other 9 expect to get by. THAT is rude. What we really consider rude is if you have part of your group wait in line for you and try to push your way all the way through the line. You'll get a bunch of annoyed looks, sighs, and if you're unlucky, a rant from someone who tells you no.

A group of about 15 drunken idiots being picked up at the Downtown Disney bus stop heading back to the resort and have little kids and their annoyed parents be subjected to F bombs and sexual acts discussed in great detail rather loudly and yelled halfway across the bus. So much so that the bus driver has to pull over, twice, turn on the lights and scold those involved. This delaying our voyage another 20 minutes.

Drink as much as you want. Glad you were responsible enough to take a bus. All I ask is to act like you've been there before and don't be so obnoxiously rude. Especially when you are a group of adults celebrating a 40th birthday. I know they were because the birthday "boy" told me at least a dozen times from Downtown Disney to the Yacht Club. Only later to come across same birthday "boy" puking into the lagoon at the Boardwalk after which he took off his shirt, wiped his mouth and threw the shirt into the water. People spend thousands on the one week a year they can take off and spend time with their family and people like that have to ruin it for them.
