Yet ANOTHER music fatality

I heard that this morning myself. It's sad...she's had some trouble in her life before. It's too bad it had to end that way and so soon. It certainly makes you appreciate everything a little more when you hear about something like this.

I am not the biggest fan of R&B, but I do own a couple of TLC CDs. I'm just a fan of music & musicians generally, so this type of news always gets to me. I'm still reeling from Randy Castillo, let alone everyone else lately! Yeah, she did have it pretty rocky for a while & she was SO young! Die-hard fan or not, it's still a shame & it's still tragic. :(

everybody has an opinion, but some people may be upset by this news, so try not to be as harsh :)

This is so sad, I really respected her as a musician (even though I don't particularly like R&B), she was such a strong person.

Rest In Peace Lisa.

What I find very sad about the situation is that everybody views these events as tragedies. I agree that it is awful when a young person dies. My point is that is less of a tragedy when somebody who has spent the last few years living with fame and money dies than when somebody dies alone and unrecognised. I know of many people that have suffered far more than these musicians ever will, have struggled with poverty and illness and when they die nobody even notices. That is far more tragic.

I forgot to mention, I mean no disrespect to the people we are discussing. I just think it is more of a tragedy to spend years in poverty than a few years with fame.
