Yachtsman! Opinions wanted

DW are planning to eat at the Yachtsman for a steak. We recently listened to a podcast that gave the yachtsman mediocre reviews. The comments were the service was excellent but the food was lacking and overpriced when compared to other restaurants on the property. We (I) am looking for the best steak on the property. We are already planning to go to Le Cellier, in which we both are looking forward to experiencing!

What are your opinions?

I have heard good things about it, but haven't eaten there myself. The aroma that I smelled walking by it every day when I stayed at the Yacht Club definitely made me want to try it.

We have went there every visit since 2005 and that has been 4 trips. We always have our final meal there before leaving WDW. :slurp:

I think it worth the 2 TS we use everytime. I would even pay out of pocket to eat there.


So yeah, I recommend the place.

This was one of our favorites on our last trip in Sept. We ate here for our anniversary and had a wonderful meal.

We plan on returning next Sept!

We Love LOVE LOVE the yatchsmans steakhouse.

We really enjoyed eating there back in September. The service was excellent, and we had a nice, relaxing meal. But dollar-for-dollar, we found that we liked Le Cellier ever-so-slightly better.

But the lobster bisque at Yachtsman is YUMMY!!!!

We've enjoyed Yatchman's in the past. One of the best steaks we've had on property was at Shula's steakhouse at the Dolphin. Off property was at Charlie's. Any of them I'm sure you will have a great meal. Have fun.

We go to the Yachtsman's every trip - it is sooo good. We've eaten at some of the best steakhouses in New York, Chicago, & Vegas, and Yachtsman's ranks right up there!!!

Fab restaurant. We went during our Beach club holiday 2007, and decided to cancel 2 other reservations (on DDP) and try to get back there on our last night - which we did. Both times were lovely. We're definately going again in September
