Yacht Club stack up against the Floridian and Polynesian

I personally like the Poly better. There is nothing all that unique about the GF or the Y&BC. They are both great resorts but the Poly has that X factor of feeling like you are in another part of the world and not just at a nice Disney resort. However the pool at Y&BC is by far the best on property.

Yacht Club doesn't come close to the GF. The service at the GF is way better then the Poly and the YC . I am going back in Jan. and will probably stay at the GF again

The Poly and Floridian are both beautiful Resorts. Stayed at Poly every year growing up and I still have a soft spot for it today.
But in 1998, I stayed at the Yacht and Beach Club for the first time and every trip since then I've refused to stay anywhere else but there.
I love the atmosphere and the location, not to mention it has a fantastic pool.
My husband and and I are huge fans of Epcot, so to be within walking distance is a huge plus for us. Also, it's a piece of cake to get to both MGM and even the Magic Kingdom from Yacht and Beach Club (just walk through Epcot hop on the Monorail, change monorails at Transportation and Ticket Center and you're on your way).
I've found that the overall atmosphere of both the Yacht and Beach Club are very casual and relaxed, which is also a great fit for my husband and I.
We also like to walk around the Broadwalk at night - can be a very relaxing way to end your day.
We are staying in the Yacht Club for our next trip on September 30th and I'm so very excited to be going back! :sohappy:
