Would you switch your hotel reservation?

With the refurb happenening at All-Star Sports food court, would you switch you reservation if you were staying at All-Star Music or Movies? With shuttles taking pepole over for food, I assume that this refurb will have a major impact on the other two hotels as well.

I don't know if I would switch if already booked...but I would think hard about booking versus other options.

As a person who eats breakfast in the hotel prior to leaving the park (most days) I would probably make the switch.
I agree with @LuLaSue. If you normally use the food court more than once or twice, I would definitely try to switch. I know when we use the food court it is either in the morning when we are in a bit of a rush or possibly in the evenings when I would not be interested in a shuttle to another resort to use a food court.

This would make for a very unmagical experience...

heck yes. in my limited experience with value resort food courts, i found the lines long, and the food ice cold by the time we tried to eat it. even if they add personnel, they only have so much equipment for preparation.
if you really like that resort, and consider staying, i would plan to bring some breakfast items and eat in my room, and if you normally eat lunch or dinner at your resort, I would bring something back with me from the park, or just eat there before leaving.
I WOULD AVOID THE FOOD COURT LIKE THE PLAGUE

I would switch... I can not imagine even more people in line at those food courts! There will be a grab and go open at All Star Sports but who really wants to eat that every day? Look and see what else is available while you are there. I am a big POP fan anyway. Also after the people come from All Star Sports to eat they will probably use the buses at the other places to go to the parks. Sounds like it could be very congested.

I would switch. Construction can take away from the Disney Magic though they are pretty good at hiding the work. Try Pop if you haven't been there before. I've enjoyed it a couple times myself.

I booked a client at Sports and the next day this construction was announced. I let them know and they decided to switch to Pop. They were not on the food plan. But if you are on the food plan I would most definitely switch. Hope that helps :)
I am not sure it matters if they are on the food plan or not. I think it depends if your client plans on utilizing the food court in their hotel. IMHO, I am glad they decided to switch.

I'm considering a switch (staying at Music) but then again, I usually have breakfast in the room and the other meals in the parks so I don't know if I should bother (we don't do DDP)

We don't use the food courts at the values, we always go somewhere else, so if the stay is cheaper, I would stay there and eat elsewhere....plenty of food options at the parks.

I would switch! It's essential for us to have a food court when you want a quick meal and little wait in order to get back to the parks ASAP! Especially in the morning for breakfast.

I did switch. We are going 8/19-23/13 and originally had a reservation for ASSp. The day I got the letter in the mail advising me of the refurb, I called and changed to Pop.
