Would you do Magic Kingdom or Epcot?

Ok if you only could do one. 4 midlife crisis babes, lol ;) did not get hopper passes. I am the only one who's been to WDW before.
I was leaning toward Epcot only because we are boozers and like adult beverages but MK is well, Magic kingdom and I do like the new light show at the MK

Have a noncommittal response from me.

A couple of years ago, at nearly 40, I went to a conference in Orlando. I arrived super early to go to MK one day by myself. As an unrepentant Disnerd, I was in heaven. I could do whatever I wanted, no whining about needing to go to the potty every 20 minutes, no problems just sitting around absorbing it, all the rides I love....

But, Epcot is much better for entertaining adults. Booze, food, shopping, attractions that are low key, beautiful landscaping.

But, newbies might want that hyper-princess, classic experience.

Read your audience. Take a simple poll: Do you want an around the world bar crawl? Or do you want a to be a kid again?

Epcot is the place if you want booze. Though you can do MK and hit the monorail resorts for a liquid lunch or when inspiration hits.

I faced a similar dilemna; got a hopper and did both parks. :p

I would suggest adding a 1 DAY HOPPER to your tickets...It's a secret Surprise...Tell everyone that you are here to enjoy the parks and NOT DRINK...Do something you don't normally do back home! Start your day with ROPE DROP with FP's. at about 2PM your tell them we are going to eat a nice sit down dinner outside of the park, but actually what you will be doing is having a sit down dinner at Epcot to finish out the day...with DRINKIING to make them happy. I would enter at the International Gate and stay in World Showcase and drink around the world(you can find information online) and end the day with Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. The walk back to your car at the Boardwalk and take in some late night entertainment there before heading back to your hotel! PLEASE drink responsibly, no drinking and driving, don't become drunk guests and ruin the magic for others! Hope you have a great trip!

All depends on what the focus of the trip is going to be. As mid-life crisis babies, if you are going to eat, drink, be merry and escape life ... then EP is better suited for you. Strolling leisurely into each of the pavillions and maybe doing some shopping & snacking as well, allows a more relaxed pace. Theres also better dining options if you want great food and table talk time, ending the evening with
Illuminations to wow them.
If you wanted more entertainment with attractions to ride, parades and castle shows to watch also dont mind dealing with more crowds, lines and a frantic pace, go with MK.

Epcot for me, just for the reasons you stated. Typically I go to the other parks in the AM then finish the day at Epcot.

MK, hands down. There's just soo much old/untouched rides in Epcot. It really hasn't gotten much love from Disney in a long time and its showing. I mean do we have to do Ellen's energy ride yet again?? I know the long range plans now include improvements, but in 2018, if you're asking me now. Its Magic Kingdom hands down.

I agree with one of the earlier posters. Go to MK at rope drop, leave around noon for Disney Springs and a nice lunch/beverages, then return to MK in the evening for MK after dark and HEA. Some booze along with the classic Disney experience.

It depends on if you're about rides or the overall experience. If I needed to do as many rides as possible, then it's MK. But if I want great atmosphere, plenty of beautiful scenery, and of course them tasty drinks, then Epcot wins.

For me it would be Epcot, no question.
