Has anyone purchased the birthday wish package? It seems like a lot of stuff/merchandise + the magical moment of having Mickey and friends sneak into your room while your in the park......but $395? Ouch!

We did it for DD's 5th birthday and first trip. She is almost 10 and still talks about getting the gifts and still has all of them, except for the cake (obviously ;)). It was pretty cool, and I am sure amazing to a kid to come back to your room and see all of those things placed throughout the room.

I am a teacher and I use the Happy Birthday banner to hook onto my students' lockers for their birthdays. It is expensive, but I felt like we get a lot of keepsakes, most of which we would have bought anyway.

She will love it! They do a great job at placing everything so nicely. The boxes have tons of confetti paper that matches the boxes. We felt it was worth it. She thinks that what happens on everybody's b-day at Disney. When we walk around the parks and she sees someone's b-day button, she still looks at me and says, "I wonder how they liked their gifts from Mickey and the Gang?"

We had ours arranged to some on the evening of our check-in. If I am remembering it correctly, I think we were given a choice of times of the day that they will come in and set everything up. If you are staying at a resort, they will put the birthday banner up in the window, so she will see it upon coming to your room.

Be sure and video her excitement as you open the door. It will be precious. I hope your DD has a wonderful birthday!

I am 26 and my boyfriend got me one of the packages for my birthday this year. I got the one with the surprise sash, plush mickey, mini plus mickey, picture frame, autograph book, cake, banner, tinker bell, and light up birthday necklace. I loved it and was so surprised. We spent an hour looking for Tinker Bell and didn't find her until night time when we turned off the lights. Silly adults couldn't find her because of course they hid her in plane site haha.

While I love all of those packages, they cost as much as my AP does and I get a lot more use and enjoyment out of that than some flowers and a few items in the room. Plus my AP gives me a discount on anything I buy in the shops. Just think they need to cut the prices down a tad bit.
