Worst Que

Okay, Disney usually does a great job bringing Magic into every nook and cranny of the park, but I recently was in a discussion with friends regarding good and not so good Queues... Everyone loves Haunted Mansion and Space Mountains new Queues, but which attraction is most in need of a makeover, interactive distractions, or even just air conditioning? I think that the hour and a half I spent in line for the Jungle Cruise was the longest week of my life, while my friend said the same about BTMRR! Which Queue is your least favorite and why? And if you could make it better, what would you do?

I can usually find SOMETHING interesting to look at...Stitch's Great Escape (horrible in every aspect) and Monsters Inc seem to take forever as well as Philharmagic if you get there at the wrong time :(

You are right, that area in general needs help! Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin is awful in the summer and the line is long!

Space Mtn, though I love the ride, has my least favorite queue area. Many times I end up in that back hallway, which is hot and frequently littered with trash. In fact, much of Space's queue is too warm, considering it is indoors. The little stars and planets in the ceiling are nice enough, but Space is the ride whose line I least like to stand in. I have never waited in the part where people play games, but assume that would be more entertaining than just standing around.

I also don't love the basement part of ToT. I get that it is themed to be a basement and they did a nice job of that...but there is a reason people don't generally choose basements and boiler rooms as places to hang out.

Any line sucks if you have to stand in it long enough, of course.

Lights motors action stunt show is a horrible wait out in the Florida sun, can't think of one that's as bad off the top of my head.
Oh, I forgot about that one! Yeah, it's grueling. But any distraction could help, even something as simple as a beach ball (I hear there may be a few to be had at Cars Land)!

Worst Que was definitely the robot called Que in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, since he was a cheap Bayformer knockoff of Wheeljack.

Worst queue at Disney, however, would be all of the slow moving rides in Fantasyland. Peter Pan's Flight, It's A Small World, Winnie the Pooh, Mad Tea Party....theses queues have no redeeming qualities whatsoever. There is nothing to see other than the same people over and over again when the line goes back and forth.

In your opinion what makes it so great?
I didn't say it, but I'll chime in here. Muppets has to be one of my favorites because of the detail and effort that went into filling every nook and cranny with jokes. I'm always chuckling to myself in that line and finding new things I haven't seen before. Can't think of theming on any queue that actually makes me laugh.

As for me Peter Pan's Flight has to be the worse. Hot, bland, and long.

Honorable mention though to Soarin and Maelstrom.

Maelstrom for the missed opportunity. The Norway pavilion is one of the best themed in world showcase, but the queue room for the ride is bland. The mural and map are nice, but considering how well done the exit of the ride is, it seems like a missed opportunity.

Soarin, just for how painstakingly slow it moves.

Soarin is still the worst for me. Although they do have the interactive game, it seems like the line doesn't move very well. And when you get to the turnstile, it seems like you wait again forever before going to an assigned side.
