world cup opening ceremony

Is anyone else watching the football world cup opening ceremony? they totally borrowed elements from "illuminations"! I just had to say something in case anyone else noticed.

yeh there was similarities....and I also think they toned down everything in light of all the protests and uprest

yeah definitely, I don't know what the US coverage was like but in the UK everyone was saying the sound system was awful we couldn't hear a word of what was happening when the singers came out.
