Work Question

I applied for a Photo Pass position and it says part time. Now do you really think it's part time or is Disney known for saying that and giving you full time hours? If I do get this job I would have to move down thee and could not live on part time pay. So that's my first question. Secondly, how much do Photo Pass people get paid? Thirdly, if it truly is a part time job can you get another part time job at Disney to get more hours?

1. Well, it depends. If you told them you have full availability, then basically, as a part time cast member, you could get full time hours, sometimes even more, but, unlike full time cast members, they are not obligated to give you full time hours.

2. I'm not sure, I think its the same as any other starting CM position.

3. Nope, you can only be employed in one role with Disney. However, you can sign up for additional hours in other locations, if you have the required training for that shift, or the particular role doesn't require training.

Get a second job at Publix! I hear great things about them. I wish we had a Publix here (NY) because I'd totally work there.

Yea, the job they are advertising is a part time position....but honestly you can't live on that...hopefully I'll be getting two other people to move down to Florida from NY so it will be easier financially...but we'll see! The Publix idea is great!

Don't forget about benefits though. You won't be entitled to things like medical insurance when you are only part time. If that is something you need then I would strongly consider a full time job somewhere with Disney on the side.
