Hello , Looking to travel to Walt Disney World , work there live in my RV . Want to leave the North County for the winter. Question were to stay reasonable with the Motor Home. I'm I crazy to think about doing this? Pete

Another snow bird! Welcome to Florida! And no, you're not crazy, I think many posters on this site would love to do what you are going to do. My daughter has on more than one occasion suggested we live at Disney. And we live in Florida just a few hours away. I've suggested to her that since the financial institution she works for has a branch near Downtown Disney, she request a transfer and Mom will come visit her, frequently. Actually, I think I said move in with her.... lol

So are you going to be working at WDW or in the Orlando area? I would think if you are going to be a Disney employee, their personnel office could provide info about RV lots with reasonable monthly rental fees. And they do have RV lots at the Fort Wilderness campgrounds that would be a good temporary place to park - pardon the pun - until you found something more permanent (and cheaper). Or there's always the parking lot at Walmart. A guy in our local paper talked about parking his RV for an extended length of time in the Walmart parking lot, with Walmart's knowledge of course.
