I just want to say BOOOOOOO if this is the case. I have seen Meeko wandering around the enterance ot AK before, but they wouldn't allow you to take photos, or even really stop much to interact. Which I understand as to not form some kind of back up, but I can see a lil kid, esp one used to the "regular" (for now a days) M&G think the character is "ignoring" them b/c they're not getting the same interaction they're used to...

They should be able to do both. They did back when I was a kid... The new modern-day concept of the meet and greet location is less than ideal.

Yeah same when I was a kid, and I have all kinds of random people surrounding me in my pictures too. But given my recent experience with it in WDW I'm not currently expecting much until I see it implemented. Meeko wouldn't really stop, but last summer in DCA that's how Oswald met. Thing is he'd be labeled as a certain time & location in the app, so there were at least 2 families waiting in the area, but then he comes walking out, already surrounded by a crowd.. Crowds have changed for sure...

Such a shame they didn't make a dedicated M&G Area and considering what they have.
Hopefully they could figure something down the road after Galaxy's Edge opens and the crowds migrate there...

Hopefully, they're working the three hour line to get into TSL. Everyone gets a M&G!

Have Bullseye or Bo Peep met guests before? I was under the impression it was just going to be Sarge and the Army Patrol, Woody, Jessie and Buzz. It would be great if the other 3 were regulars.Roaming? What like 2 inches before they get bottlenecked into a corner?

Never thought I would see the day on these forums when people are clamoring for a M&G as opposed to roaming. Roaming characters bring so much more spontaneity rather than the forced and scripted encounters of a M&G.

During Soft Opening on the 29th, The area to the right of the Mania entrance, with the view of the covered, open air queue, was used for meet and greets. Once crowds die down, this should be their location.

I found the pic from Character Central's site....http://www.charactercentral.net/PR36_DisneyCharacters_Movie_ToyStory13.aspx. I was just showing what Toy Story characters are readily available at their parks. how you put two and two together finding it off of Post like that is beyond me.

just seems dumb considering the IP has its own land now, with dedicated rides. Why have the same IP (except mickey of course) strewn in multiple parks in the same basic locality? dumb.
Very dumb considering what prime real estate the buzz building is, but then again we always complain and harp about expansions instead of overlays, so as long as they keep expanding for the next couple years it is hard to complain
