After being turned down last month when I flew down from KS to interview, my wife and I decided to move to Orlando anyway. We got down here last week, and I called on Friday the 5th to see if I could get around the 6 month delay between being able to interview a second time (last month the casting agent initialy said to call when I got down here, when I said the job would be pivital in my move she wanted to think about it and then called me a week later in KS and said no.)

Today I got a call and a job offer which I said yes to!!!!!!!!!!!
I will be starting late this week at Disney Quest at DTD!!!!!!!!!!

If any CM has info on what it's like to work there I would be happy to here it.

I worked there back in 99 for a brief period of time, and it was fun. It's a smaller environment than most of WDW, so you can get to know ALL of your coworkers.

some advice..

1-stock up on cold medicine. You get sick very easily in a cold, confined building

2-write names down. that's the only way I remembered some of the people I worked with

3-you get in free to DQ on mondays.. enjoy!

4-if ANYTHING is missing from your locker, have security search the Cheesecake Factory CM lockers (no joke.. every time something was missing while I was there, from ANYONE, it always turned up in one of their lockers).

5-get used to earthquakes (the breakroom is located right beneath Astroblaster, so when 1 car is hit at the right angle, the WHOLE room shakes)

Wow

Congratulations! I love DisneyQuest. Have you ever been to one before? It's a truly fantastic experience!
What's your name? I'll be visiting DQ at least once during my CP, (this year, from August-December) so I'll try to say hello if I see you. :)

Yeah, I'll be down there is Nov. I already have my tickets for Dairy Queen, err... Disney Quest. Maybe you can meet your "friendly neighborhood spider" from WDWMagic. I want to work at Disney someday -- family obligations say no for now, maybe later.:(

So, I am guessing that you can't "Lock" your "Lockers"?

No, of all the many things I've done at WDW, I never have made it over there. I guess I'll find out soon though.

Thanks for all the well wishes, as soon as I have a chance I'll post on what its like.

You can.. things weren't missing too often, but when something was, it always turned up in the same place
