Wonderland Tea Party and/or Pirate Cruise

I was doing my disney homework this morning and came across the Wonderland tea party and the pirate cruise at the Grand Floridian. It says ages 3-10 and 22.50 per child. My dd will be 3 and 1/2 when we visit disney, do you think she will be ok doing these things? The Pirate Cruise talks about a cruise around the lagoon, do the parents go as well? Is this worth the time and/or money? Any info on these two activities would be great!

Cruise

I know in both instances the parents are not involoved. On the cruise the kids go without their parents. For the tea party I believe the parents are asked to leave during the majority of it. I think they let you come in at the beginning and end to take pictures.

My 2 DD's (at the time 8 and 6) attended the Alice Tea Party last April and seemed to enjoy it although I don't think it was exactly what they expected. Parents were NOT allowed. I think the girls were a bit disappointed to find that only Alice was there. From what I remember, they sat down at the table with Alice and a Disney Castmember who stayed throughout the proceedings. Alice spoke with them as they ate and then after all was said and done they were allowed to take pictures with Alice. None could be taken during the meal.
For what they got, I honestly don't think it was worth the price (parents practical opinion) but as they say in the add "Cost of the event ? $22.50. Having a magical, memorable, uniquely Disney experience ? priceless."
