Wondering about going to Sanaa's Lounge before After Hours

Hello everyone

My wife and I are going to DW later in August and on one of the days we are going to Disney After Hours at the MK. Before we head there around 5 we are thinking of going to Sanaa to get the bread service and drinks, but there really isn't any reason to go in the restaurant if they serve this at the lounge.

We currently have 5pm reservations for Sanaa so we definitely can get in, however we are wondering if people think around 5 if the lounge area will be filled up based on previous visits? Obviously this can't be answered with any certainty - I'm only asking for the general business for the lounge area.

Thank you!

As you already know, it is hard to answer for certainty, the lounge is not huge but should work, certainly if you are willing to wait (in case it is full).

We did a mid-afternoon lounge one trip just for bread service and drinks before for a party of 4. We had to wait a few minutes before some seats opened (they just so happened to be the bar). There was a large table being used, maybe for a dine with an imagineer (couldn't tell but one person seemed to be telling stories) and a few other tables being used by families not yet ready to leave.

Sorry I can't give you any better idea, but Yes I do agree if you have a reservation just for intent of going for bread service, it would be better to just use the lounge. And for a party of two, it seems like you should be able to get a seat.

Have a great time!!!! We will be there starting June 30.

Edit: One thing that you will have to think of is canceling your 5PM in advance to avoid a missed reservation charge. If this helps, I have done a walk up twice before around 5Pm and 6PM without a reservation and received a table.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah I think we should be good for just us two for the lounge. It's fine if we have to wait a couple minutes. You still have to wait sometimes even with reservations. Hope you and yours also have fun in a week! Nice :)
