Why do they open WoL seasonally if they're trying to turn Epcot into a Thrill Park. BW is a Thrill Ride isn't it. WoL was always my favorite pavillion because they're was nobody in there and I love BW and CC.

I'm a little worried if this "seasonally" open attraction isn't even open for the summer- one of the busiest "seasons" of all.

On a side note, come on Disney, either keep it open for good or close it and build something new. After paying $55 for admission, don't we deserve to have as many attractions open as possible? :veryconfu

Has WoL been open any when Mission Space was open? I don't think so. It seems they would wait and see how overflow crowds would effect the pavilion. Then if there were no attendence increases, they could procede with the closure. It just seems like they never gave WoL a chance to be open next to the park's best attraction.

Consider it closed. I highly doubt it will ever reopen in its current state.

It closed in January, so it had been open when M:S was open. On Thanksgiving Day, when M:S had an hour+ wait, Body Wars was a walk-on, and the whole pavilion was dead, so it seems that even during the largest of crowds at the park, no one comes to WoL. :(

I think that was an old post--WoL has not been open all summer that I know of, and I agree, if it is seasonal for overflow, it should be open at one of the busiest times of year. It does not bode well for it re-opening anytime soon.

WoL had seasonal openings through the spring (see a short history of this in the tribute video, linked in my post above).

When the Land goes down, WoL should open.

TOO BAD THEY DISMANTLED THE RESTAURANT!!! :(

WoL seems to have been reduced to the role previously filled by Horizon's in its later years.

WoL will probably be open in 2005 from Jan-March while The Land is closed for renovation.

WoL will probably be open if TLS closes to finish the next two phases of renovation (if the phases require TLS to be closed for a longer period of time)

One question is this, will the officials at Epcot think WoL will need to be reopened for TLS downtime once Soarin' opens, as the new ride will add capacity to FW, and could bring about the demise of WoL even earlier.

I want to see WoL reopened in an updated state, or I want to see it replaced....I just don't want to see it SBNO.

I stand corrected. I was think more in terms of summer schedules, but Thanksgiving is a pretty crowded time.

Body Wars

I wonder if this means a renovation will eventually take place, and perhaps a removal of Body Wars. I know BW isn't a great ride, but it's an old classic, and I'd miss it if it were gone. BTW, anyone think WoL will be open before/after thanksgiving week this year?

Hard to tell when it will be open. Hopefully soon. If nothing else, WoL should be open as an alternative to M:S, M:S is not for everyone, as they tell you several times before hand. So, if it's not for everyone, open WoL for those who can't enjoy M:S. Just a suggestion. I hope it stays, but i say to all of you: As great as Wonders of Life was/is, don't be afraid of change, change can be good, but you never know what will happen unless you give it a chance. So, let's see what Disney comes up with, and i am sure We will welcome it. I hate to see anything SBNO. it really drives me nuts. i sure hope WoL opens just once more so i can see everything one last time.

I REALLY doubt Wonders of Life will reopen. By closing it in April and not reopening it at all this year, they could safely not open it when the Land takes its 2½ month rehab during the off season and not really get any substantial complaints. This is the buffer period that all attractions that are going to close go through, where Disney calls the attraction "seasonal" for about a year so most guests will grow used to it not being open, and then they quietly remove the attraction from the refurbishment listing. With the way they have been dismantling everything inside of Wonders of Life, that should be a pretty good suggestion of its future. Parents will simply have to return to having "the talk" with their kids instead of plopping them in for a showing of The Making of Me while the parents enjoy some low fat, guilt-free ice cream next door ;)
