Wilderness Lodge Update
The concierge at Wilderness Lodge is very nice - I stayed there last December. The continental breakfast service and hors d'heurve/wine service in the afternoon are first rate and the staff very attentive. The concierge individual located on that floor is also great at helping with dining reservations, park tickets and the like.
A couple of "complaints," however. I've stayed at the Wilderness Lodge concierge and the Animal Kingdom concierge. In my opinion, the AK concierge is much better. First, the hotel was constructed with the concierge floor as part of the design. Therefore, it is a big floor with a comfortable seating area, concierge desks and amazing food service. The WL concierge floor is a converted floor of the hotel that doesn't have a separate area and is not as impressive (it otherwise looks like any other floor). Seating is much more limited and space is an issue; therefore, the food and wine service is somewhat more limited.
Second, the views from the concierge rooms at AK are better than WL. Savannah views versus service area/parking lot and some of Bay Lake. Again, AK wins.
Overall, however, I think that you will enjoy WL concierge. The service is very Disney, you can make a meal from the continental breakfast and afternoon eats and you have the privacy of your own "floor" in the hotel. Enjoy yourself!
