I was just watching Wishes from my balcony, but I have yet to see it in person yet. (I looks cool from 7 miles away)

I was thinking about hitting the MK this weekend, to see Wishes and Philharmagic, as I have not seen either yet.

The forecast is for rain this saturday...will the fireworks still be shot off it is a bit wet out?

Also, are these two attractions worth a short trip on a saturday to see, given the weekend crowds?

I have the perfect balcony, I can see MK and Universal fireworks. I can also see SeaWorld when they do a big show on the 4th of July.

Wishes and Philharmagic are worth a LONG trip in my opinion! Philharmagic is a lot of fun and Wishes is just incredible - finally a show that does the park justice! Don't miss either of these. From what I heard, Wishes runs rain or shine.

Crap

Ok, maybe next weekend.

Thanks so much for the heads-up on Grad nights.

Is that just at MK? I have not seen Fantasmic either.

Yep..grad nights are only at MK.

Fantasmic is at MGM, but to experience it like you should, you'll have to have a park ticket to get in.

I have experienced it a number of times from Fantasia Gardens, but I am sure that it is much better from inside the park.

I heard this show fills up quickly...how quickly?

Wishes will be at midnight on Friday and Saturday for grad nights so you won't be able to get into the MK to see it.

Sorry, Wishes is not being presented the Grads. They get a custom show titled "Celebration in the Sky".

if it is raining they don't shoot the fireworks off! i know from personal experience!!!
And I know from personal experience that they do. The only thing that would take Wishes down is heavy lightning in the immediate area at showtime or sustained winds in excess of 20 mph out of the North.

I agree, I watched Wishes in a downpour during my last trip in January, it was cold also but so worth it.
