Wishes Soundtrack Contemporary Balcony

Hello! My family and I will be spending New Years eve at thee Contemporary with a balcony view of the MK. I was wondering if I would hear the sound track for New Years fireworks from the room? It would be great if anyone here knows!

I think it is doubtful you will hear it from the actual park, although it depends on the wind direction and exactly where you are located. The audio is played over speakers on the rooftop for the Calfornia Grill.

There's a channel on the TV that plays the fireworks soundtrack in time with the fireworks themselves. I forget which one...148 or something like that I think. Ask the concierge desk and they can tell you.

You obviously didn't read my trip report then! <grin>

But, yeah. They pipe it in through the TV. We had a grand ol' time on the balcony at contemporary (also stayed club level) watching the fireworks with the TV volume piped up munching on the free pastries, cookies and drinks from the concierge section.

We had our own little Wishes Dessert Party!

That's cool. Didn't know they did that hear at WDW.

We saw it happen out at DLR a few Christmases ago. Accidentally stumbled upon something called "The Firework Channel". Music started playing and we heard the fireworks a few seconds later. Turned that bad boy up and enjoyed the fireworks from our balcony. Made it an excellent start to what I still consider to be my all time favorite vacations.
