Wishes music via radio?

I read somewhere that a couple taking a carriage ride at Fort Wilderness stopped to watch the fireworks and a CM came by with a boom box that played the soundtrack...

So I was wondering -- can anyone in the MK area tune into the fireworks music? It'd be nice to find a romantic spot on a beach and bring a radio along to listen to the music loud and clear. Anyone know for sure???

I don't know about that. I do know that restaurants with a view of the fireworks, such as Ohana, do pipe in the track from the parks, so it is possible that might be how they are getting it. I'd be interested to find that out myself.

The horse carriage has the CD player on the seat, he just syncs the music up with the show. It's the same CD for purchase. If you ask me, it's bad show seeing a modern boombox on this carriage of yesteryear. I'd be hard pressed if management had approved this. I think they do it on there own. As for Wishes soundtrack being broadcast, it is broadcast RF for the Wishes cruises on the Seven Seas Lagoon. Not sure of the freqency but I believe it can be picked up by a hand held scanner.

Thanks for the feedback... it crossed my mind that perhaps he was synching with a CD but then I thought... Naw they wouldn't do that!

Oh yes they would! Apparently.

Just a thought.....I don't know if this is true or not, so take it with a grain of salt, but you know when you arrive on site, you can tune into a certain AM station and hear all about the resort? I wonder if they play the nighttime shows on there. I know one year we were in the parking lot during Fantasy in the Sky, and as we were leaving we could watch it and hear it. I don't remember if the parking lot had it piped in, or we were listening to a radio. Just a thought

EDIT: Boy am I blonde....I guess that wouldn't work now that I think of it, considering almost all of the nighttime shows/parades/fireworks happen at the same time.
Duh! Sorry :(

I was told by someone a few years ago that he went down with a scanner to listen to Reedy Creak and D-security that he pick up the Fantasy in the sky also. He said That Disney does have their own internal radio network, on the upper digital band. That the music must be broadcast from a central location to the restaurants, beaches and yes boats (like the grand gathering cruise) and handsome carriage rides. You can’t just pick up on a regular radio.

PS you can also go to Live 365 and listen to D magic radio she playes the night shows music about the same time every night .

I am also a frequent listener of D-Magic Radio! I love how they play the nighttime tracks at about the same time they would be performed.
