Wishes Audio

Wow, I wonder who approved going ahead with WISHES last night when at least two of the Audio "Zones" around the Partners statue were not working last night?

Am I correct in assuming that Disney Managers and Stage Managers know the importance of Audio in this Show?????

Maybe I assume too much...I had to struggle to hear the audio from over by Tomorrowland's entrance to even TRY to enjoy it...

Its funny too because they have 3 Pre show announcements to check all of the zones...

I hate when show quality suffers...

They still haven't fixed that? Back when I worked in Glow merchandise, I remember there was a period of a few months when it was either out totally or really sctratchy, over on the Tomorrowland side of the hub.

We watched Wishes from Toontown last night and we had no audio whatsoever. We spoke to a cast member and she said she was trying to figure out what was going on. We did get to hear like the last 30 seconds of the song, but even that was really quiet and hard to hear.

I didn't even know they played the show audio in Toontown. Did this start with Wishes? I guess I have never really been back in that area for the fireworks.

I didn't know that they played the show audio in Toontown, either. But, we were talking to a cast member while watching the fireworks and we mentioned that they should play the music in Toontown and she said that they are supposed to and she was going to see what was going on.

This has happened before. I was also there Halloween at MK, and the launched the old Fantasy in the Sky fireworks, and I was on the bridge, ( My favorite spot for MK fireworks), and you could not hear the audio. We were also crossing the Adventureland bridge, next to the Crystal Palace, during the second parade, and you could not hear the audio, at all. And as you can see from the other threads, the problem is still going on.

I absolutely hate it when this happens... its such a disappointing way to end the day.

I remember this once happened to me watching ROE at Epcot. A family standing near me, who had obviously never seen the show before, actually said "gee, they ought to add some music to this to jazz it up."

Bummer!

I know how you guys feel... I went to see Wishes the first Friday of this month and went 1/2 hour to get a good place by the train station; we heard the 5 minute announcement and the last minute of the show. I was a little bit aggrivated. I didn't know it happened that often, but if it's happened to this many people it must be something that's happening a little too often. :(
