On Friday, my youngest son and I were at Tomorrowland riding a few rides we had missed earlier in the week. When we went on Space Mountain using our Fastpasses I left my scooter at the entrance and didn't get the wheelchair they had (& had left my cane in my hotel room). I didn't think I would easily be able to maneuver it over the non-functioning people-mover so struggled to walk the length to the ride. By the time we arrived at the store at the end of the ride, I couldn't move, was frustrated and turned around in my orientation. I didn't know where I had left my scooter. A cast member saw me, asked what was wrong, and began giving directions to the front of the ride, then stopped, asked my son if he could tell my scooter from the others and he said yes. She told me to sit while they brought my scooter to me. She took my son, and before long they had gotten it to me while I rested. We headed back to our resort afterwards and I immediately wished I had gotten her name to thank her properly! Her small kindness meant so much when I felt stuck!
