We will be in the AKL for 4 nights and on the WONDER for 3 nights. Does anyone know if there is WIRELESS INTERNET @ AKL?? How about the WONDER? And are there FEES for either AKL or the Wonder?? We will need to take our laptop (for business purposes) hence my question!
THANK YOU!!!

Have a look here: http://www.wdwmagic.com/internetaccess.htm

I don't think the Wonder has internet at all, but if they do, it'll be prohibitively expensive. Ship-to-shore isn't cheap.

I'm not 100% but I think I heard once that there is highspeed at AKL, but not wireless. And it's 9.95 per day. Again, I can't carve that in stone myself, but I think that's what it is.

Not sure about the Wonder though.

Wireless is available on both the Wonder and the Magic. They have both an Internet Cafe and wireless available in certain places within the ship (I'm not aware of any staterooms that have wireless).

It's a somewhat complex pricing system (not really, but prices do depend on the length of the cruise). Simply put, internet access (Cafe or Wireless) is $0.75 a minute. At the cafe (on a four day cruise) you can buy unlimited access for $39.99. For about $55 you can buy 100 minutes of wireless.

Full details at:

I cannot speak for speed or reliability (you are at sea, remember).

Last November I had my laptop at the Grand Floridian. I picked up a wireless network and when I called tech support they said that there is wireless in the lobbies and business centers, and high-speed in the rooms. The high speed was 9.95 a day, and they also told me that picking up the wireless in the rooms was not reliable, so that was they only way to go. I never took the laptop to the lobby to find out if it worked or was free, and I would think that all the deluxes would be the same.
