Winter Summerland

So for our next trip we're looking into a few things we haven't done before and Winter Summerland is one of them. What I'm wondering is, is it worth it? We like mini golf and I heard that this one is better than Fantasia Gardens.

I would say yes, it is worth it. Mini golf at WDW is a fairly common activity for my family in the summer. Our seasonal passes are blacked out in the summer but we still frequently end up in WDW to visit friends and watch the fireworks. Mini golf has become our default way to spend the afternoon. Fantasia and Winter Summerland are two sides of the same coin. Fantasia is a very beautiful almost professional putting green. Winter Summerland is zany mini golf with a Disney flair. Personally, I like Winter Summerland the best. To me, mini golf is about getting a golf ball into a windmill and not a serious display of a short game.

Yes this is a must do for us every time we are at wdw, We make sure we do both sides of it and make sure that we do the fantasia golf aswell, it's a great way to spend time in the world relaxing and taking in the atmosphere. I would defiantly recommend trying this, we go every nov/dec and it helps add extra to the holidays for us :)

Winter Summerland is fine but definitely not something I would do unless I had a lot of time to kill during my trip. It's slightly better than the average mini-putt but not amazing, in my opinion. I would rather spend the extra half-hour at Blizzard Beach. You can find mini-putt pretty much anywhere, but how often do you find a ski-themed water park?

Okay, just to clarify things... There are four miniature golf courses at WDW. Fantasia Fairways is similar to a traditional 18 hole golf course, except on a smaller scale. It's not themed and for somewhat more serious players.

Fantasia Gardens is a Fantasia movie themed course with fun obstacles... and is pure Disney.

Winter Summerland consists of two Santa Claus themed courses- the summer course and winter course. They are cleverly themed and fun, and share the same 18th hole.

I hope this helps you choose. If you enjoy miniature golf (or goofy golf as I call it), you'll love these.

Winter Summerland is a fun mini golf course. We like the winter side of the course better than the summer side. but both are fun and offer some fun photo opps.

Love them all but I think Fantasia is the best. I'm the only one in our group that liked Fairways. It is tough! Winter/Summer is a blast but seems more tuned toward kids.

I like them all, but I think Fantasia Gardens is a superior course to Winter Summerland. The holes at Winter Summerland are much shorter, and I think maybe more fun for very little ones. I like the little bit more of a challenge & interactiveness that Fantasia adds. Plus I don't feel Winter Summerland is nearly as "Disney" as Fantasia. But if you like mini-golf, any & all of courses are great!

I wasnt super impressed with the Disney mini golf. I think some of the courses outside of Disney are much more impressive. The Disney courses are not bad by any means, I just expected a bit more from Disney.

We'll have time on our first day cause we're not planning on doing the parks that first day; mostly swim, Downtown Disney, relax and last time I went our bus passed by Blizzard Beach and I saw Winter Summerland, but we didn't have the time then like we'll have this time, so I think it'll be something fun to do this time around.
