Hello!

I'll be headed to DL next week and am wondering what I should be planning on, clothing wise. Jeans/tshirt with a sweatshirt for back up at night? Long sleeves all day? I know SoCal weather can be finicky this time of year. As of right now, the weather says a high of 72 degrees during the day and a low of 55 degrees at night on the day that I'll be going. Any advice would be appreciated!

I find that even upper 60s in the mid-day sun can get warm at Disneyland... If high is 72 and low is 55, I'd back your plan of doing a t-shirt and jeans w/ backup sweatshirt for sure.

Where are you from? How thick is your blood? I think you can’t go wrong with a T-shirt, hoodie, jacket combo. That way your prepared for any scenario. You ll probably need all 3 from the morning into the early afternoon where the jacket won’t be necessary anymore. Depending on how sunny it is you may end up in just the T-shirt for a few hours In the afternoon (maybe 12-4pm ish). Then you will slowly start adding back the layers.

Depends how windy it is too. I live about 40 miles away from the park and I have all 3 of those layers on right now at 1:25pm. Of course it’s only 60 degrees and windy and cloudy.

Thanks. I'm from NYC, which is why I think I'm having so much trouble grasping the concept of possibly wearing a t shirt in late December. I do tend to get cold fairly easily now that I think about it.

Haha if you re from NYC, you ll probably end up in just a T shirt for a few hours in the afternoon so long as it’s not too windy. BTW I would do a hoodie with a zipper, which adds even more versatility.

I would just tie a sweat shirt around your waste. At least it would be good to sit on during a parade.

Agreed. But let's try to not look like complete slobs, please. It will be chilly in the evening, but not that cold that we need to throw our appearance out the window to prevent frostbite. Would it be too much to ask to wear some tailored slacks and a smart jacket? It's Disneyland and it's Christmastime, after all.
