Windows MovieMaker question

Hello everyone. I have what I imagine is a question with a simple answer that just happens to elude me at the moment. So, here goes:

In making a picture slideshow movie on Windows MovieMaker, after you add the song I cannot figure out how to make the song fade out at the end rather than abruptly stopping. I do not want to make the show longer (which would happen if I used the "fit to music length" feature.

Anyone know what I think should be a simple answer for this? I am using the version that came along with my Windows 7 laptop about two years ago.

Thanks,

Paul

If you are using the windows 7 version: Once you finish adding the pictures you want, and you have your music as well, just click on the options tab at the top of the screen. (it should be the last tab) Then all you have to do is select the fade out drop down box and choose slow, medium or fast.
