Windows CE .net

Hi!

I was wondering if anyone can help me....


My dad has a Compaq Ipaq (palmtop). On it, he is running windows CE. I believe that there is a new version, called windows ce .net. I was wondering if anyone knew if it would be possible to upgrade?

I am assuming that it wouldnt, because i searched on some online shops and couldnt find anywhere that sold "windows ce .net"


But on the other hand i thought to myself..........surely there must be SOME way to upgrade!!!


If anyone knows anything or could help me, I would really really appreciate it

I remember reading a blurb about customers who had upgraded to Windows.CE.net and it crashed their Palm. I've always been a big believer of upgrading only if a new version has something that is absolutely necessary.
