each thanksgiving we visit my parents at their orlando home and pop over to one of the parks. This year, however, I was considering universal because i wanted to try the mummy and shrek. I live in tallahassee so i go to the parks pretty regularly (like twice a year sometimes). my question is since i haven't been to universal since may 2002, will CoP be open along with time keeper and stitch. out of all the times i've been to disney, i've only ever ridden Cop and TK once. If they'll be open, I'll go to disney.....afterall it does have the best "atmosphere"

Stitch will ofcourse be open.

Timekeeper is very sadly rumored to be clos(ing)(ed) for ever. I'm not sure if it closed yet, or if it's going to soon. But it probably is gone for good (or going for good).

Carousel of Progress is rumored to be living until early 2006. But it won't be open daily; just seasonally. But at the time you mention, probably not.

Last I heard, official calendar had CoP closed when Stitch opens for seasonal operation.

I hope it would reopen with Timekeeper during Thanksgiving.

Other than saving Disney money (oy. vey.), there is no reason they shouldn't both be opened during Thanksgiving.
