Will this work... Breakfast at contempary.

So we are staying at carribean and have booked a breakfast at contempary. We were thinking of driving to the contempmary and parking there then taking the monorail to epcot. Well someone said the monorail is down. But then I figured we'd just take the bus. Myquestion comes from the parking. The last time we had a breakfast at contempary they only gave us a 2 hour parking pass. I just do not want to get up even earlier to take a bus from the carribean to the contempary. any ideas??

Exactly what the PP said. You can't leave your car there after you eat unless you pay for valet parking. And then what would you do at the end of the day? You'd have to go all the way back to CR to pick yp the car and drive to your resort. So you've got some choices:
- drive to CR, then drive to Epcot.
-taxi or Uber to CR, then monorail or bus to Epcot.
- suck it up and take the bus to MK and walk over to CR, then monorail or bus to Epcot.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Yep many do. And yet I have seen cars towed. You take your chances.

Plus if someone does that they are taking the free parking spots from other hotel guests actually staying there and those visiting. (Many times at some resorts we stayed at parking lot was full so had to use valet and pay to park or like at Boardwalk we ended up having to park across the street in the overfill lot) Those parking lots can fill up and make people get turned away or have to pay to do valet parking. :)

For a while now Disney has been cracking down on vehicle parking at resorts by people who are not guests staying there. Part of it is space issues and part is being more security minded. You may have gotten by without any issues before, but just be aware, Disney is now being more stringent on their parking at resort policies. It would be a big hassle to come back from a day in the park and have to deal with a missing car.

They've been cracking down on that.
The last two times I have been, last February most recent, this has never been an issue. We will usually do Chef Mickeys for breakfast or dinner and leave car there for afternoon or evening. Never a full day, but definitely from like 8-1130 or 4pm - 8pm.

I agree with the drive suggestion, especially since CBR is so close to Epcot. Beside the issue of how long you can park at CR, you would have to take the bus back to CR at the end of the day to get your car. And the bus stops at EPCOT can be a LONG way from the gate. I would think that by the time you could even get a bus back to CR you could drive from EPCOT to CBR and be back in your room before you could even get to CR. Depending on how lucky you are at getting to the bus stops at the right time (and how long the lines are) I can see you loosing an extra hour or more just taking buses rather than driving to EPCOT and then on to CBR at the end of the day.
One other thought depending on the time of your reservations would be to take the bus from CBR to MK, then take the 10 minute walk or the monorail from MK to CR. Then take the bus from CR to EPCOT and EPCOT to CBR at the end of the day.

No bus from CR to Epcot, only monorail. Otherwise the last plan is sound!

I just got back yesterday and we had no issues, we parked at Wilderness for dinner at Whispering Canyon café, it was a lot of fun, then went to Disneyworld for the rest of the night, also while we stayed ay Yacht Club the entire time, they didn't even give us a parking permit, we had no issues at all, maybe we were just lucky

Did they check your Magicband when parking, as far as I know they don't issue paper passes anymore.
