Will this touring plan of The Magic Kingdom still work?...

In 2004, my sister and I went to the Magic Kingdom (3rd week of Aug) and had an excellent touring strategy. We got there at open and started immediantly at the jungle cruise followed by pirates, splash, big thunder, mansion, peter pan, snow white, winnie the pooh, and philharmagic. We bypassed all shows(except philharmagic at the end), minor attractions, shops and restaurants until after philharmagic. We did all of those attractions and sat down to lunch by 11:30AM. Then, we went back the way we came, doing any attractions over that we wanted to and did anything we had missed. After we went back through Adventureland, we did Tomorrowland. We got fast passes for space mountain and buzz and went on the other attractions in the area while we were waiting for our fast passes to mature. It worked beautifully!!
Now, my wife and I are visiting the kingdom on either March 16th or 17th and we would like to know if this strategy is still relevant or if we may run into problems. Any thoughts tips or ideas would be lovely. And will it make a difference if we go on mon or tues in reference to crowds?
Thanks all.

I think it will work to a degree, but no where like it did in August for you. You are talking about a Monday and Tuesday during one of the peak spring break weeks. Touring Plans has a 6 for both days with MK being a better park on Monday.

If you start at JC, I would skip Pirates and move on to Frontierland. Pirates constantly moves and waits shouldn't be too bad later in the day. I'd actually skip Philharmagic and head over to Tomorrowland and check out Space wait times and Buzz.

We do something similar sometimes, and its great, but I would probably have a different plan during the busy weeks (the one your going may be a little busy). When we goto the world its pretty dead and nothing is much of an issue wait wise so its a nice way to do the park.

So you don't think I should wait until later to tour tomorrowland and use fastpasses for space and buzz while riding other attractions? Do I risk there not being fast passes for those rides when I need them? And do you think I should get a fast pass for splash or big thunder while riding the other or is it too early in the day at that point to worry about it based on my current touring plan?

I think it's early enough that you wouldn't need a FP for Splash or BTMR. You can always take a peek and see what the times and return times are.

I think you will be ok with FP available for Buzz. With Space going down for a longish refurb in April, crowds might be heavier. Plus it's spring break.

I think for this time frame, you are looking at noon by the time you finish Fantasyland you mention (without doing Philharmagic). Depending on the park hours, I would head on over and at least get Space out of the way.
