In 2004, my sister and I went to the Magic Kingdom (3rd week of Aug) and had an excellent touring strategy. We got there at open and started immediantly at the jungle cruise followed by pirates, splash, big thunder, mansion, peter pan, snow white, winnie the pooh, and philharmagic. We bypassed all shows(except philharmagic at the end), minor attractions, shops and restaurants until after philharmagic. We did all of those attractions and sat down to lunch by 11:30AM. Then, we went back the way we came, doing any attractions over that we wanted to and did anything we had missed. After we went back through Adventureland, we did Tomorrowland. We got fast passes for space mountain and buzz and went on the other attractions in the area while we were waiting for our fast passes to mature. It worked beautifully!!
Now, my wife and I are visiting the kingdom on either March 16th or 17th and we would like to know if this strategy is still relevant or if we may run into problems. Any thoughts tips or ideas would be lovely. And will it make a difference if we go on mon or tues in reference to crowds?
Thanks all.
