Customized my new second set of Magic Bands this weekend. It says I have until October 15th, 2014 to update them. We'll WDW not send them till then, because on my last trip I got them about 2-3 months before but I will be getting them about 3 weeks till my trip this time!?

They will ship about a day or so after your "Last day to customize" date.

The Customize-By date should be 30 days before your check-in date, and as mentioned above, they'll ship within a day or two after that.

If your last trip was during the early roll-out of Bands, you may have gotten them much earlier because they weren't sure of the fulfillment workflow yet and wanted to make sure the Bands made it to the Guests. But now that they know they can get them out in a timely fashion, it's settled down to the 1-month timeframe.
