Can anyone that has stayed in a studio villa at the VWL please let me know what you thought about it and if certain rooms have better views than others?

We stayed there last year. It's my cousin's home resort for the DVC. If you've stayed at another Vacation Club Resort in a studio, it is pretty much the same layout just a different decor. The resort itself is very nice. The theming is incredible and the lobby is awesome. The pool is nice and we rented Water Mouses which was great. The only problem and it is also an advantage is locale. You really feel like your in a forest somewhere in the West. However, unless you are going to MK everyday it is a little more inconvenient to get to destinations. Hope that helps

This is our home resort and I must say it is wonderful. The studio is a basic villa studio and just about any view is nice. Most face either the main hotel with a view of the lake ( depending on the floor) and the others look out over the pool, lake and woods. If you are looking for views of the park, this is not the place. But, it is a beautiful relaxing place to be. It is also a quick trip to MK by boat and you can takes the Monorail to Epcot from there. ENJOY this place is amazing!!!:sohappy:

Wilderness Lodge Villas - room locations

I recently joined DVC at Wilderness Lodge as home resort and made my first reservation over the phone last week. The folks there were very helpful - although they won't guarantee a room, they'll attempt to get us the third floor facing Bay Lake (lake should be partially visible) next to an elevator (for our 90 year old mom).

No specific room numbers were mentioned, but the reservation person made some suggestions and volunteered some information so it was unnecessary. Hope this helps, and good luck!
