Wilderness Lodge Tour

HI
I am staying at the Wilderness lodge next month for a few days before heading off to the polynesian for the remainder of my trip, I was just wondering whether anyone had taken the Tour of the Wilderness lodge????

When I stayed in the WL In January I didn't have chance to do it due to lack of time. However I am really hoping it will be possible this time. I would like to know how long the tour lasts and whether anyone thinks it is worth doing?

Thank you
:)

I'm afraid I wasn't able to take the tour, either, so I can't help you with that. However, did you know about becoming a Wilderness Lodge flag family? Each morning, a CM escorts a family to the WL roof to raise all of the flags on the top of the building. It's kind of a cool and little known perk. However, for being relatively little known, it's quite popular. Ask when you check in whether they have any openings during your stay. To my knowledge, you can't call ahead to reserve a spot. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to do this, as there weren't any spots open on my last trip

I took the tour this past September. It starts sometime around 9:30-10:30 am and lasts about 45 minutes. A few interesting facts in it. Like how the main columns in the lobby were put together, the pattern on the floor of the lobby, the layers of the chimney, etc.
