Wilderness Lodge Rooms Question

I had posted a question the other day about making room requests in general and now I wondered if anyone had any specific advice on how/what to request at the Wilderness Lodge. We have a Woods View Room and I know some of them face the MK so we could see the fireworks. I would like to request that but don't know what to request exactly. I know it is better not to ask for certain room numbers so the CMs have flexability but how do I go about saying what I want. Do I just say I want a room on the 4,5 or 6 floor that faces the MK? Will they be able to do this? Any advice on requests is appreciated. Thanks so much!

You can request highest floor available with a view on the Magic Kingdom. I don't know the specifics but I had friends do that and they lucked out. Good Luck.

Best rooms with an MK view are _020- _032. When we first stayed at the WL (the year it opened) you could watch the castle all night from our room on the 4th floor. After the trees grew it became impossible even on the top floors. With the storms that went thru the past few years some trees were knocked down or topped and you can see the MK again. Our favorite rooms are 6030 & 6032. They are right near the elevator that goes down by the laundry room (at the bottom of the ramp by the Roarin' Forks), it's quiet there and you can see the MK and fireworks.

Always make your room requests when you make your reservations and again when you confirm a few days before arrival. We have only been denied our request once because the room was not ready and we did not care to wait as the rest of our party had their rooms.

Thank you! I guess than I will just say highest room available with a view of the Magic Kingdom and not try to specifically request certain rooms even if I know they are good. I am sure it will be very busy this summer and hopefully we will luck out and get a great view. I will also hope they prune the trees or a storm knocks off some branches. We have never stayed there before so we are so excited!
