My wife and I are thinking of staying at Wilderness lodge in May. Is there a food court there?

Also, my brother-in-law and sister are coming with their 3 kids at the same time and are thinking about staying at the Pop. The older kids are 8 and 6 but they have a 1 year old that will need to have a crib...do you think the rooms at Pop could accomodate that with room to move around?

Thanks!

Wilderness Lodge Food

There is a short order place called the Roaring Fork....it has fresh fruit, bagels, sandwiches, all sorts of stuff ala carte. The concierge level has breakfast spread, snacks, lite dinner foods, wine and cheese in the evenings and desserts. There is also a Lounge, a family restaurant called the Whispering Canyon that is a HOOT....and a formal restaurant called Artists Pointe. So plenty of food options. They also have room service in case of need. My favorite resort.........:D :D :D

Yes, there is a food court at the Wilderness Lodge.

Pop Century will accommodate that amount of people as one of the children is under 3. However, it will be VERY cramped with the crib. They might want to look into a family suite at the All-Stars. It's like two rooms, one with a bed for the parents, and the sofa, chair, and ottoman in the living room fold out into beds as well. Baby's crib could be set up in either room and it would be much comfier for all.

The Roaring Forks is the food court at WL. It is quite small compared to the food courts at the All Stars or POP because WL also has The Whispering Canyon Cafe and Artist Point.

A room at POP would be cramped with a crib, but it is possible to do it if nobody minds really tight quarters. As suggested, a suite at All Star Music sleeps 6 people and would be a great option, but I believe it is about twice the price of a typical value resort room. You might want to check out a room at Port Orleans. They are larger than at the value resorts, typically have 2 sinks and I believe are quite a bit cheaper than a suite at AS Music.

The Roarin' Forks is more of a snack bar than food court (considered counter service).
You can get sandwiches, salads, fruits and pastries. They usually have a hot soup and burgers, dogs and a special each day...breakfast plate and lunch & dinner special is the same. This is also where you get & fill the resort mugs.

There is a sort of food court at WL. It has quick service items but there is NOT alot of seating. There is maybe 15-20 tables. The food is fine, but we usually ended up taking the food to either the pool or our room.

I used a Pack-n-Play at Pop it fit on either side of the tv. The beds are only fulls not queens so if the adults &/or kids are "toss & turners" they will not be very comfortable in the beds. No matter where they end up staying I suggest they bring a baby blanket form home, the rooms do get cool and the AC tended to blow on my little one when e was in the crib.
