Traveling this summer to WL after recently being told that my diet needs to be no or low sodium. Has anyone experienced successfully finding low sodium options at the Wilderness Lodge's restaurants or at the Old Faithful Club?

If you are staying club level contact the concierge before your arrival and they will make sure low sodium options are available for you.

As @Figgy1 said, the table service restaurants will be very helpful; you may have to wait longer to speak with someone at Roaring Fork (the quick service location.)

I have not specifically sought low sodium there, but have stayed there with other special dietary needs guests. As others have said, they will usually contact you before arrival. Even if they don't, or if you want to call yourself, then you can reach out to them. I think the hours are 7am-5pm, or maybe 9am-5pm. The # is 407-939-7777. (At the hotel, the CL staff hours are 7am-10pm, but the call hours are shorter.)

At the hotel, you can also ask to speak to a chef. If you plan to otherwise dine at Wilderness Lodge then they can arrange that was well. (same chefs).

All day, the CL has some whole fruit (tangerines are now common in the CL), beverages that should be safe. At breakfast, they have more fruit and yogurt. Evening, they usually have some veggies out.

If you need them to prepare a special dish, then they can usually do it, but it does take a little extra time. So it might be helpful if the person w/ the dietary needs is able to go to the lounge a little ahead of the rest of your party. Sometimes the staff can also walk you through the line, and let you know what line foods will fit your needs.

Another option to consider for in the parks is to bring (from home) a few snacks that you know will work for you. One item we like is the 'Just Fruit' bars. they keep well, do fine in WDW heat, and have just dried fruit, no added sugar or anything. They also taste pretty good, but they are dry, so having with water is good. Trader Joe's also makes a very similar fruit bar.
