Wilderness Lodge & Charlie?

 Was wondering if anyone else had any issues with the WL and how it handled the hurricane last week? I applaud Disney's preparations in advance of the storm, but I was extremely dissapointed in their handling of the post-storm period. We paid for box lunches and beverages (despite our mugs being in our rooms), while I understand others received free food and beverages. Our room never received a message from the hotel management about an apparant 11:30pm to 1am buffet in the Whispering Canyon. The front desk the next day had no idea what was going on, as they sent us to closed mini-golf venues and water parks. They never informed us about bus service not running back to the hotel the next night, which left me stranded with two young children in a parking lot. Oh, and by the way, in all my times staying there, they've still never been able to honor a request to have connecting rooms, as once again my two parties were located accross the hall from each other.

Definately send a letter on thru to them. It was a bad situation all around, but from what I've been reading other resorts handled it better.
