has anyone stayed at the cabins we are going 04/07 we are wondering how nice the cabins are and transportation????:hammer:

Transportation is bus and they also have a boat to the MK that is shared with the Wilderness Lodge. There are a few threads about staying at the cabins and a quick search should bring them up, I'm sure most of your questions will be answered.

I love the Wilderness Cabins. There's plenty of space, and it's nice to have a separate bedroom - a real bargain compared to what you would pay for similar sized accomodations elsewhere at WDW. The transportation to the parks is a bit more complicated, but not overly so, and they're definitely the best place to be if you're planning on going to Hoop-Dee-Doo. It's also nice to have a kitchen, outdoor barbecue grill, etc. I guess the only complaint I've personally heard about them is from my wife - she thinks they're a bit spooky in the dark at night (says she can just picture a guy in a hockey mask coming out of the woods to get us ).

We stayed there for five nights in February. We had a car and were glad we did. The only time we used Disney transportation was to get to the Magic Kingdom, and it required quite a bit of time and effort.

The cabins have a lot of space, but the beds are only doubles as opposed to the other Deluxe resorts that have queen sized. When the murphy bed is down in the living room area it's hard to get around - even to get into bed there's just like 3" of space between the bed and the couch.

We don't like to cook on vacation so having a kitchen wasn't a big deal for us, though having a full sized fridge was nice.

We were there in a relatively cool season so did not use the pools, but they seemed pretty basic, no themeing.

I don't think we'll stay there again, for the price we could get something nicer and more convenient. But it was fun to do it once.
