Just to clarify...Unless something has been added in the last year, there are no zip lines. There are rope bridges that have a weight limit, but no zip lines. My wife did it last year and loved it, she did the first tour of the day as that was the recommended one. I will say, if you do, be prepared for a $20 cab ride to get there from your resort, as well as eat a good breakfast before you go, as she said the food was awful. Also, there is a weight limit for the zip line, that is why I did not go, so make sure you can participate before signing up.
There's no "zip line" that I saw. I assume you mean the rope bridges? There is a weight limit, they won't take anyone over 300 Lbs [they discretely weight you before you start]. The rope bridges are actually steel cable bridges that are quite sturdy, if it weren't for the rule, I suspect they would safely support a lot more.My wife did it last year and loved it, she did the first tour of the day as that was the recommended one. My bad....I was confusing trips, she went on a zip line in Honduras that I didn't go on either because of weight. Thanks for clearing it up.Just to clarify...Unless something has been added in the last year, there are no zip lines. There are rope bridges that have a weight limit, but no zip lines.
No more than you would be from just touring the parks. Why it helps to be in decent shape, you are not exerting yourself all that much. It is mainly jut going over uneven terrain, navigating rope bridges, etc.Just one more quick question. After doing this tour would I be too "gross" to finish up the park for the day or would you suggest leaving after? Trying to figure out a game plan for the day. Thanks so much.
Thanks so much. I'll rearrange some FP+ and make this a morning adventure. No more than you would be from just touring the parks. Why it helps to be in decent shape, you are not exerting yourself all that much. It is mainly jut going over uneven terrain, navigating rope bridges, etc.
I see no reason for not doing it solo. The experience is excellent.I've been looking into doing this tour as well, but I think I would end up having to do it alone (no one else in my travel party is game for it). Would it be awkward to go on this alone? I realize you're with a group, but is it more of a family experience than solo?
