Wiimote LED Mod

I decided to do these mods to my wiimote as part of my Wiivolution mod which is eventually going to make my 1st gen Wii look like a Revolution, with the LED in the console permanently staying on and the black paint job. Since I don't want to void the wii warranty quite yet, I'm going to start with the wiimotes. I'm going to do this mod with red leds and paint the wiimote black like the concept wiimotes.
The only problem I have as of now is the triwing screwdriver hasnt come yet and i have alot of trouble trying to solder 0603 leds due to the fact that the tip of my soldering iron is bigger than the LED.

im modding my 360 to a black case and *tweaking it* - im waiting for the warrenty to be void after the debacle of trying to get my 360 fixed the last time

You should get a used original Xbox to mod- My friend has one thats erm *tweaked* too....

*tweaked* however means that you have to have an older version of the drive

so ill have to wait for the *tweaky flanger* to be released and to be stable then ill *tweak* it...

and add plue led's

Well, I fried the blue LED already on there, and I fried all but one of the red LEDS i tried putting on there, but I got one to work for a little bit until I cracked it putting the case on. I really need a lower wattage soldering iron.

So, frustrated by my setbacks but wanting to get SOME modding done I soldered a male headphone connector on the speaker and ran a wire out, now it's a speaker and a wiimote. So far I haven't got the speaker to play the wiimote sounds but I suspect I have a solution for that.

you could just replace the god aweful cone with something a bit more - suitable
