Widespread Refurbishments to Continue

For all of you planning upcoming trips to the Disneyland Resort, note this ongoing and upcoming refurbishments:

Magic Kingdom:
Sleeping Beauty Castle closed 6/21 – 9/18
Alice in Wonderland closed through 7/2
Enchanted Tiki Room closed 7/30/04 – 3/12/05
Aladdin's Oasis closed 7/30/04 – 3/12/05
Plaza Pavilion closed 7/30/04 – 3/12/05
Snow White's Scary Adventures closed 8/23 - 9/11
Star Tours running with 3 capsules 9/7–9/22
Haunted Mansion closed 9/7 – 10/1 and 1/10/05–1/25/05
Matterhorn Bobsleds closed 9/13 – 11/24

California Adventure:
Maliboomer running with one tower closed 11/1–11/25, 1/3/05–1/22/05, 1/31/05 - 3/12/05
Jumpin' Jellyfish running with one tower 1/21/05 – 3/5/05

Also planned for next spring include refurbishments of Splash Mountain and the work on facades throughout the park as well as walkways will continue through May 4, 2005

I'm so glad for all these refurbs because the park needs it. Plus we want the park looking polish for its 50th birthday.

I heard about the repaving they're gonna do. IMHO, they need to fix the bricks in the plaza between DL and DCA. Many of them are coming really loose and wobbly, and sooner or later they're going to trip someone up.

Well, they will be dressing up the Esplanade for the 50th come next spring, so they will probably fix all that brick work, then :)
